2015: Panel – Navigating Gender-Related Conversations With Priesthood Leaders

Session Description:

Even though most priesthood leaders have very limited experience with Gender Dysphoria, individuals addressing their gender identity can greatly benefit from their inspired counsel and support. Gender related discussions can be daunting for those involved. Careful preparation, and cultivating the influence of the Spirit can help each conversation be edifying and meaningful, leading to a deeper sense of belonging in the Church and a healthier involvement with one’s ward family. Individuals who have personal experience with gender dysphoria and their priesthood leaders will share experiences in a panel discussion.
