2020: Stepping into the Darkness in Faith: Honest Dialogue with Your Transgender Members

Session Description:

The recent release of the new General Handbook and the policies that apply to transgender members comes with new answers, but for some people it also raises new questions. This timely session is an opportunity for both transgender members and leaders to have a loving, kind, open, and honest dialogue as they share their unique experiences.

Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf has taught “There are times when we have to step into the darkness in faith, confident that God will place solid ground beneath our feet once we do.” We may not comprehend the struggles of others, but we can lend our love and support, and lead them to Christ who comprehends all and loves perfectly.
