Session Description:
What happens when resistance turns into revelation? In this deeply personal and interactive breakout session, Dennis Schleicher shares the true story behind Stolen Scripture—the moment he stole a Book of Mormon while actively opposing The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and how that unexpected act became the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith. Through storytelling, scripture, guided reflection, and open conversation, Dennis invites participants to explore what it means to choose Jesus Christ when answers feel incomplete, and the road forward is uncertain. Together, attendees will examine how faith grows not in spite of struggle, but often because of it.
This session is intentionally interactive, allowing space for audience reflection, small-group discussion, and Q&A throughout. Participants will be encouraged to consider their own moments of resistance, doubt, and endurance—and how Christ meets us there with grace, direction, and covenant belonging.
