Session Description:
In this breakout session, Kurt Francom invites participants to explore how a redemptive approach to leadership can transform the culture of our wards, quorums, and Relief Societies into spaces where every individual feels seen, valued, and welcomed—no matter their story or stage of discipleship. Designed especially for faithful Latter-day Saints striving to keep their covenants, including those who identify as LGBT, this session will explore how the message of redemption—not perfection—can spark deeper belonging, sustain engagement, and inspire positive cultural change throughout the Church through grounded principles of Christlike leadership and real-world examples from local leaders, participants will learn how to lead toward redemption in both formal and informal settings, bridging differences with empathy and faith. As we shift our focus from judgment to growth, from labels to love, we become the kind of leaders who help others come unto Christ—and build Zion in the process.
