Session Description:
As members of the LDS church we are taught the importance of forgiving and showing compassion to others and yet we also have emotional needs that cry out for attention. By focusing on self-care, establishing healthy boundaries, and holding space for our loves ones to heal from trauma, we are ensuring that both individuals have the opportunity to heal. This workshop will address how we can be angry and compassionate at the same time while maintaining composure in the face of intense pain and betrayal. Marianne will also map out the relationship between fear, anger, resentment, and the desire to control. She brings to this session a combination of both personal and professional experience in transforming trauma into personal strength.
