Michelle Treadwell
Michelle Treadwell has been an active supporter of the North Star community for over 10 years. She came across the book “In Quiet Desperation”, coauthored by Ty Mansfield and Fred & Marilyn Matis, and was deeply touched by its message. She and her husband Adam eagerly began sharing it with many friends, family and church leaders. When they moved to Lehi, Utah, they discovered to their delight that Fred & Marilyn Matis were their new next door neighbors. They soon learned about North Star and have been involved with the community ever since.
Michelle and her family have had many adventures moving around the United States (Utah, Oregon, New York, Connecticut, Delaware and back to Utah). She is the registrar at a charter school and enjoys music, (limited) gardening, cool office supplies, paddleyaking (ask her about it), and teaching young adults.
