Marilyn Taylor
Marilyn was raised in Syracuse, Utah, and received her Nursing degree from Weber State before serving a mission in Paraguay. She and her husband, Brandon, are parents of six children, three of whom identify as LGBTQ+. Fifteen years ago, Marilyn was introduced to NorthStar after her father came out as gay. Navigating that change in family dynamics prepared her in many ways for when her children came out years later.
North Star has been a source of connection, reassurance, and hope for their family ever since. The Taylors currently reside in Meridian Idaho, where Marilyn loves her work as a triage nurse in an OB/GYN clinic. She currently serves as choir director in her ward.
