North Star friends are invited to attend the world premiere of Alex Boyé’s “The King of New York,” a hip-hop theatrical concert sharing the untold story of courageous Black Latter-day Saints who stood behind Joseph Smith’s bold vision to end slavery and defend the Constitution.

The production combines powerful music, rap, orchestra, dance, and breathtaking visuals to tell a story of faith, courage, history, and conviction in a way you have never experienced before.
