Monica Phillips

Monica and her husband, James, reside in Mesa, Arizona. They have five children, including a transgender son and a gay daughter. Monica found North Star early in their journey, in 2018. The connections she has made with parents and others in the community has been life changing. She is passionate about ministering to other parents of transgender children in her local community. She hopes no parent will feel alone, no child will go unloved or unsupported, and that families will draw strength from the Savior and know that there is hope and peace on the horizon.
