Shelley Mangum

Shelley left BYU 26 years ago with 8 credit hours left to graduate with a degree in business. Life happened, and here she is with a family that includes six beautiful children and a daughter-in-law. After being offered one free university class in 2008, Shelley began her journey to complete a bachelors degree in psychology and a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is fascinated with the impacts of trauma, leading her on a journey of discovery and healing for herself as well as many others. She feels privileged to teach at Utah Valley University in the Behavioral Health Department, as her current position feeds her love of learning.
