Sue Bergin

M. Sue Bergin is a writer and hospice chaplain in Orem, Utah. In 2012, she wrote the book Am I a Saint Yet? Healing the Pain of Perfectionism (Cedar Fort), based on gospel principles and on her own ongoing recovery from perfectionism. She has two gay brothers, whom she loves dearly and eternally. Sue writes the Family Focus section for BYU Magazine and has written for many other publications, including the Ensign, the San Francisco Chronicle, and the Wall Street Journal. She earned a bachelor’s degree from BYU, a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University, and a master of fi ne arts from UCLA in screenwriting.
