Dr. Ty Mansfield
Ty Mansfield, PhD, is a marriage and family therapist and an adjunct instructor in Religious Education at BYU. He specializes in working with clients who are struggling with conflicts between their sexual orientation and/or gender identity and their religious/spiritual beliefs and identity. He is a co-founder, past president, and current board member of North Star. Ty participates in collaborative dialogue and research through the Reconciliation and Growth Project and the Four Options Survey Study. His most recent project was co-authoring the book The Power of Stillness: Mindful Living for Latter-day Saints.
