Elizabeth Snyder
An undergraduate student at UVU majoring in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in psychology and religious studies. Her studies have been informed by Buddhist Psychoanalysis and other psychoanalytic theories centered around phenomenology, existentialism, and continental philosophy. She has used these studies to inform research into addiction therapy, interpersonal conflict theory, spiritual trauma, and ontological relationality; to include theories of consciousness and being. She has worked in the community as a student life mentor for the past two years with high-risk youth dealing with substance dependence and severe mental illnesses where she has coordinated and been a group leader for a series of psycho-educational groups.
