James McGraw
A senior at Utah Valley University studying Behavioral Science with an emphasis in psychology and a minor in religious studies. His research interests include the effects of religion and spirituality on mental health and psychotherapy, especially among Latter-day Saints, perfectionism among religious denominations, faith transitions, and how depression and anxiety manifest in religious contexts. This past year he published an article with two colleagues in Utah Valley Health and Wellness Magazine on toxic and healthy perfectionism. He has also presented on the topic of perfectionism at major conferences, and has recently completed a major research paper on the subject.
