Dean is the second of 9 kids in a strong LDS family who moved around too much to really be from anywhere. At work, he gets really nerdy about spreadsheets full of people. Outside of work, he enjoys swimming, teaching swimming, running, biking, singing, doing German family history, reading books, and watching movies. He feels incredibly blessed to have amazing friends who are a critical uplifting force in his life. Same-sex attraction has always been part of his journey, but so has God. Dean believes that a strong relationship with God and a solid understanding of His character and one’s own eternal nature provide the deep answers behind life’s toughest questions, including SSA.
