Kevin grew up in Richland, WA and currently lives in Seattle, WA. He is the youngest of four, and is proud to be the baby brother to three wonderful sisters and uncle to seven nieces and nephews. A lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served in the Utah Salt Lake City South Mission from 2006 to 2008. During his mission, Kevin discovered his love of learning about people and their life stories. He also learned to love sharing his testimony of Jesus Christ and His restored gospel. 

Kevin has always had a vivid imagination and love for the arts in its many forms: illustration, graphic design, acting and photography. He especially loves transforming himself into his own original characters with the help of makeup and costumes. He has worked as a graphic designer for several performing arts companies throughout Seattle, and is currently the senior graphic designer for The Seattle Theatre Group. He loves Broadway musicals, classic movies, the music of the 1960s, wigs, and Judy Garland.

Kevin was aware of his attractions to men from a very young age. As a teenager and young adult, he spent many years seeking balance between his identity as a gay man and a son of God. His coming out process was one of, if not the most, spiritual experiences of his life and helped him to grow closer to his Father in Heaven and strengthen his commitment to follow his Savior Jesus Christ. He joined North Star in 2012. His greatest desire as a member of North Star is to help other LGBTQ children of God feel loved, seen, safe and valued.
