It can be hard with all the distractions and enticements of the world to get a clear picture of our divine worth and the way to finding true joy. The presenter will share experiences from his own life that describe how he learned to disregard flawed worldly messages about masculinity and unhealthy expressions of sexuality and sexual behavior. He will tell the audience about some sacred experiences where he learned God's plan for him and gained the courage and wisdom to follow it. Learn practical steps to remove self-inflicted barriers from your gospel living, embrace your authentic masculinity, live your covenants, and explore your potential for a temple marriage, all while you uncover your true and eternal authentic nature.

SKYLER SORENSON

Skyler grew up in St. George, Utah as the 4th of 8 children. He is an active Latter-day Saint, gay, and married to his beautiful wife Amanda. They have two children and live in Utah County. Skyler graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s in Media Arts and works as a video editor for American Heritage Schools. He has a firm belief in the Restoration of Christ’s church and a strong testimony of Jesus Christ in his role as Savior and Redeemer. He has a deep desire to explain simply the importance of living gospel principles, no matter your life circumstances. He created and co-hosts the podcast “Sit Down with Sky and Preston” dedicated to defending gospel principles through the lens of LGBTQ issues.
