Ben Holt, M.D.

Ben was born in southern Louisiana and raised in central Arkansas. He graduated with a degree in biology from Indiana University and attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he received his doctorate of medicine. He completed his residency training in general Psychiatry at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Holt has been employed at Intermountain Healthcare McKay-Dee Hospital for the past six years. He currently works full-time on the inpatient psychiatric unit and has additional responsibilities including administrative roles both with Intermountain Healthcare and in the local community. Although Dr. Holt dreamed of being a physician since he was eight years old, he never fathomed that he would be a psychiatrist. He considers himself a convert to psychiatry and finds great satisfaction in supporting those with their mental health challenges.
