Nickolas Coons
Nickolas was raised in East Millcreek, Utah. Growing up as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission in the Barcelona, Spain Mission and upon returning he married in the Draper Utah Temple. He later graduated from Salt Lake Community College and Weber State University in construction management.
After Nickolas discovered North Star, he found hope and connection within its community, showing him how to live the gospel fully while experiencing same-sex attraction. Inspired by this experience, Nickolas now serves North Star as their Director of Written Content. While facilitating the North Star blog early on and hearing others’ stories, he has seen how much our Heavenly Father loves us all.
Now residing in Grantsville, Utah, Nickolas lives with his amazing wife and two wonderful children.
