Session Description:
In a world filled with powerful emotions, persuasive voices, and conflicting messages, how can we know whether a prompting comes from the Holy Ghost or from another source? Drawing on scripture and church history, this session explores the reality of false spirits, the adversary’s ability to imitate light, and the divine gift of discernment. Together we will discuss practical ways to test spiritual impressions—measuring them against the teachings of Jesus Christ, covenant commitments, temple worship, and the counsel of living prophets. Through personal experiences of faith, struggle, and temple devotion, participants will be invited to consider how holding to the “iron rod” keeps us anchored when spiritual impressions feel confusing or contradictory. This interactive breakout will encourage honest reflection and provide clear, gospel-centered tools to help you confidently recognize and follow THE Spirit.
